Invitation for Tenders
Date: 06th September, 2019
1. This Invitation for Tenders follows the approval of ATCL Tender Board circular resolution No. 3 of 3rd September, 2019
2. Air Tanzania Company Limited now has a set side funds for the operations. its is intend that part of the proceeds of the funds will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for which this invitation for tender is issued
3. Air Tanzania Company Limited now invited sealed tenders from eligible national suppliers of roasted cashew nuts (salted & unsalted) in ATCL Branded Package for passengers refreshment on board partial bids shall not be accepted
4. Tendering will be conducted through the International Competitive Tendering procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 – Government Notice No. 446 and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations.
5. Interested eligible Tenders may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Secretary to the Tender Board-ATC House,Ohio/Garden Avenue, P.O.Box 543,Dar es Salaam, Room Number 8 from 09:00-15:00 on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
6. A complete set of Tender documents in English may be purchased by interested Applicants on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 100,000/= Payment should either be by Cash, Banker’s Draft, or Banker’s Cheque, payable to Air Tanzania Company Limited, P.O.Box 543, Dar es Salaam.
7. All bids in one original plus two copies properly filled in, and enclosed in plain separated inner envelopes properly marked original copies as appropriated sealed in one plain outer envelope written “FRAMEWORK AGREEMENT SUPPLY OF ROASTED CASHEW NUTS (Salted & Unsalted) IN ATCL BRANDED PACKAGE FPR PASSENGER REFRESHMENT ON BOARD” must be delivered to address below before Wednesday 25th September 2019 at 14:00 hrs, Bids will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in presence of bidders representatives who can choose to attend in the opening at the ATCL House second floor located on plots No. 773/59&774/40 AT THE JUNCTION OF OHIO garden avenue/pamba road ilala – Da es salaam
8. Late Tenders, portion of Tenders, electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, and not opened and not read out in public at the Tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for
evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
