CONSTRUCTIONS OF MODERN MARKET AT BOMANI WARDS PLOT NO. 51 BLOCK “B” LOT 1

REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP)

Date: 20th February, 2019

  1. This Invitation for submission of Proposals follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project which appeared in PPRA TENDER PORTAL Issue no NONE dated 19th January 2018.
  2. The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the TARIME TOWN COUNCIL, P.O BOX 45 TARIME during the financial year 2018/2019. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the CONSULTANT SERVICES FOR DESIGN AND SUPERVISION OF CONSTRUCTION OF MODERN MARKET AT BOMANI WARD Plot No. 51 Block “B” WITHIN TARIME TOWN COUNCIL
  3. The TARIME TOWN COUNCIL, P.O BOX 45 TARIME now invites proposals to provide the following consulting services: CONSULTANT SERVICES FOR DESIGN AND SUPERVISION OF CONSTRUCTION OF MODERN MARKET AT BOMANI WARD Plot No. 51 Block “B” WITHIN TARIME TOWN COUNCIL More details on the services are provided in the Terms of Reference.
  4. A complete set of Tender Documents (s) in ENGLISH and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of written application to the address given under paragraph 7 and upon payment of a Non-Refundable fee of Tsh.200,000 .Payment should be payable in Banker’s Draft NMB Bank Tarime Branch and Account No.30410005254 . Note: The payment should be made after getting a Bill of payment from Treasury Office (Revenue Unit Office) at Tarime Town Council.

It is not permissible to transfer this invitation to any other firm.

This Request for Proposal (RFP) has been addressed to all local Consultants

5. A firm will be selected under National Tendering and procedures described in this RFP.

6.The RFP includes the following documents:

8.All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Securing Declaration in the format provided in the Tendering Documents.

9. All Tenders in one original plus Two Copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address Tender Board Secretary Office,Tarime Town Council Po.Box 45 Tarime –Ujenzi Yard before 1400pm. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the Tender Board Secretary Office,Tarime Town Council Po.Box 45 Tarime –Ujenzi Yard on Tuesday 05th March, 2019.

10.Late tenders, portion of tenders, electronic tenders, tenders not received, tenders not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstance.
