INVITATION TO TENDER

FOR

CONSTRUCTION OF WATER STORAGE TANK A MOMBO IN KOROGWE DC

1. RURAL WATER SUPPLY & SANITATION AGENCY – Tanga have been located funds from ministry of water improvement of water supply infrastructure in Mkata – Handeni DC and Mombo – Korogwe DC for the financial year 2020/2021. Its intended that part of the funds will be applied to cover eligible payment under the contract for construction of water tanks. The agency now invites sealed tenders from eligible bidders The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the Rural Water Supply and Sanitation and Agency during the financial year 2020/21.It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the Construction of RUWASA HQ office building in Dodoma.

2. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Tender Board Secretary Tanga Water Supply and sanitation authority, Swahili street/street no 3 P.O. BOX 5011 Tanga from 8:00 – 16:30 Monday – Friday inclusive except public holidays.
3. A complete set of Tendering Documents may be purchased by bidder from office of the Tender Board Secretary Tanga Water Supply and sanitation authority, Swahili street/street no 3 and upon payment of a non-refundable participation fee of 100,000.00 Through control number issued by Tanga Water Supply and Sanitation Authority
4. All bids properly filled in plain envelopes and enclosed shall be delivered to Tender Board Secretary Tanga Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Authority Swahili street/Street no 3, P.O. BOX 5011 Tanga at or before 10:00 Hours Local time on 03.09.2020
5. BIDS WILL BE OPENED IN PUBLIC IMMEDIATELY AFTER DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION AND IN THE PRESENCE OF BIDDER OR REPRESENTATIVES WHO CHOOSE TO ATTEND THE OPENING CEREMONY, THE OPENING CEREMONY WILL BE CONDUCTED AT Tanga Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Authority Board Room
6. All bids must either be delivered by hand or be sent by registered post and the outer cover shall be clearly marked BID/TENDER NO …………… FOR……. DO NOT OPEN BEFORE 10;00 0N 02.09.2020
7. Late Tenders, portion of Tenders, Tenders not submitted, not opened and not read out in public at the Tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
