CONSTRUCTION OF WALL FENCE AT ACQUIRED PILOT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF CIVIL AVIATION TRAINING CENTRE (CATC) AT AVIATION HOUSE FOR TANZANIA CIVIL AVIATION AUTHORITY
INVITATION FOR TENDERS
DATE: 19 JULY 2019
1. This invitation for tender follows the general procurement notice for this project which appeared in the general Procurement Notice for the financial year 2018/2019 through TCAA website, Tanzania Procurement Journal ISSN: 1821-2021 Vol xi.29 DATED 17 July 2018 AND PPRA Tender portal on 17 July 2018
2. Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority has set aside funds in the financial year 2019-2019 for the procurement of various goods works and services. The authority intends to apply part of the funds to the cover eligible payments under the contract for which is invitation for tenders is issued
3. The TCSS invites sealed tenders from eligible registered contractors or capable in either class 1,2,3,4, 5 or 6 of contractors in Civil works or Building category for carrying out the constructions of wall fence at acquired plot construction of civil aviation training Centre at aviation house for TCAA
4. Tendering will be conducted through the national competitive tendering procedures specified in the public procurement regulations 2013- government notice no. 44 as amended in 2016 and is opened to tenderers only as defined in the regulations unless otherwise stated in the tender data sheet
5. Interested eligible tenderers may obtain further information from and read tendering document at the office of the secretary TCAA- tender board, Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority, Aviation House 3rd floor Nyerere/Kitunda Road Junction Banana Area, P.O. Box 2819, Dar es Salaam from 7: 30 to 15: 30 hours local time Monday to Friday inclusive, except on Public holidays
6. A complete set of tendering document in English language and additional sets may be purchased by interested tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a no- refundable fee of Tanzania Shilling one hundred only. Payment should either be by cash, banker’s draft or banker’s cheque, payable to the director general, TCAA Account No. 20101000006 NMB Commercial Bank PLC Dar s Salaam Tanzania after obtain control number from TCAA accounts section at aviation house 2nd floor
7. All tenders must be accompanied by tender security declaration in the format of tendering document unless otherwise stated in tender data sheet
8. Pre-tender meeting will be conducted at aviation house located Nyerere/ Kitunda road Junction Banana Ukonga on Wednesday, 24 July 2019 effective from 10:00 hrs.
9. All tenders in one original plus two copies properly filled in and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address of the Secretary of the Tender Board, P.O. BOX 2819 DAR ES SALAAM location TCAA on/or before Monday 5 August 2019 at 11: Hours local time clearly marked tender No. EA/028/2018-2019/HQ/W/14 for TCAA do not open before Monday 5 August 2019. Tenders will be opened promptly therefore in public and in the presence of tenderers representatives who choose to attend in the opening at Secretary Tender Board Office Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority
10. Late tender portion of tender, electronic tender and tenders not received, tenders not opened a the tender opening ceremony shall not be acceptable for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances
