CONSTRUCTION OF FENCE WALL AT CHAKE CHAKE
Invitation for Tenders
1.This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice issue no 1/2020 for this project which appeared in Zanzibar Leo and Daily News Dated 18.03.2020
2. The People’s Bank of Zanzibar Limited has set aside funds during the financial year 2020. It is intended that part of that proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payments under the contract for the Tender No: SMZ/PBZ/CONS.FENCE/NCB/2020/MJW/9 for construction of fence wall at Chake chake
3. The People’s Bank of Zanzibar Limited now invites sealed tenders from eligible National contractors registered as building and/or civil engineer contractors for construction of fence wall at Chake chake
4. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding procedures specified in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act no 11 of 2016, section 66 (1) and is open to national Tenderers only as defined in the section unless otherwise stated in the tender data sheet
5. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Secretary of Tender Board, PDMU Office Mpirani, Second Floor from 0930 15:30 hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
6. A complete set of Tendering Documents in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of TZS 200,000.00. Payment should either be by Cash, Banker’s Draft, or Banker’s Cheque, payable to the Bank account, Tender Commitment Fees, account number 2010179510.
7. All tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Securing Declaration in the format provided in the tendering documents.
8. All Tenders in one original plus three (3) copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address Secretary of Tender Board, PDMU Office Mpirani, Second Floor at or before 1400hours on Friday 25th June, 2020.Tenders will be opened at 1430hrs in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the Conference Room, Islamic Bank Head Office Mpirani, inside Zanzibar Insurance Head Quarter Building.
9. Late Tenders, Portion of Tenders, Electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, Tenders not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
