Invitation for Tenders RE-ADVERTISED
1. The BIHARAMULO DISTRICT COUNCIL has received grant from the Central Government, Ministry of Finance and Paining-Treasury towards the cost of Construction of Car Parking Bay at Nyakanazi Road Junction in Biharamulo District Council, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this grant to cover eligible payments under the contract for Construction of Car Parking Bay.
2. The BIHARAMULO DISTRICT COUNCIL now invites sealed tenders from eligible Prime contractors (Government Agency and Non-Government Agency Civil Construction firms) registered or capable of being registered in Class four or above for carrying out the Construction of Car Parking Bay at Nyakanazi Road Junction in Biharamulo District Council as tabulated under:

3. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, Government Notice No.446 of 2013 and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations unless otherwise stated in the Tender Data Sheet.
4. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Secretary of the Tender BoardBiharamu/o District Council, PO. Box 70, Biharamulo from 07:30AM Hours to 15:30PM Hours Local time on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
5. A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 4 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 125. 100, 000. 00. Payment should either be by Cash, Banker’s Draft, or Banker’s Cheque, payable to District Executive Director, Biharamulo District Council.
6. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender securing declaration in the format provided in the Tendering documents unless otherwise stated in the Tender Data Sheet.
7. All Tenders in one original plus two copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes”only marked the tender number on top” must be delivered to the address Secretary, Council Tender Board,Biharamu/o District Council PO. Box 70, Biharamulo at or before Friday 26th of August, 2019 at 10:30 AM hours Local time. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the Biharamulo District Council meeting Hall.
8. Tenderers participated in the first instance of the cancelled tendering process are also encouraged to participate fully in this second instance of competition, terms and conditions specified in the tender Notice as well as in the tendering document will apply equally to all bidders participated in first and second instances.
9. Late Tenders portion of Tenders, electronic Tenders, and Tenders not received, Tenders not opened at the Tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
