1. The Ministry of Communication, Science and Technology has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Secondary Education Quality Improvement Project (SEQUIP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Supply of Seven (7) Motor Vehicles Five (5) MOEST and Two (2) for Institute of Adult Education.
2. The Ministry of Communication, Science and Technology now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Supply of Seven (7) Motor Vehicles Five (5) MOEST and Two (2) for Institute of Adult Education at Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Government City, Mtumba Area, Afya Street – Dodoma – Tanzania.
3. Bidding will be conducted through National competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” November. 2020 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information through TANePS (www.taneps.g0.z) and or at the office of the Secretary of Tender Board, e-mail [email protected] 22, from 09:00 to 15:00 hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays at the address given below
5. The bidding document in English language may be may be downloaded by any registered bidder from website https:/’www taneps.go.tz. Interested bidders have to necessarily register themselves on https:’www taneps. go.tz (to participate in the bidding under this bid. It shall be the sole responsibility of the interested bidders to get themselves registered at the aforesaid website and apprise themselves adequately regarding all the relevant procedures and provisions related to uploading and submitting of the bids on the aforesaid website. The Bidders shall fill up all information as instructed. The Bidders shall download all forms and fill up as instructed. The filled-up forms ‘pages shall then be scanned and uploaded on the TANePS along with the scanned copies of the supporting documents.
6. The Bidders shall submit their bids electronically through TANePS – ttps//: www taneps.go.tz. before the cut-off date and time for submission. Detailed guidelines for viewing Bidding Documents, responses to clarifications and amendments and for online submission are given on the website: https: www.taneps.go.tz’ and to the address below Secretary of Tender Board. Ministry of Education, Science and Technology. Government City, Mtumba Area. Afya Street, P.O. Box 10, 40479 Dodoma — Tanzania at the PMU Office on or before Tuesday, 30° November, 2021 at 14:00 hours local time.
7. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of Tanzania Shillings Ninety Million {TZS. 90,00 ,000.00). The Bidders have to submit a scanned copy of the Bid Security on the TANePS as per the format provided in the Bidding Documents. The Original copy of the Bid Security must be submitted physically on or before Tuesday, 30th November, 2021 at 14:00 hours local time. In case the original copy of the Bid Security is not submitted by bidder at the date and time specified, the bid will not be considered.
