REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR THE DESIGN, SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF ACCOMMODATION CAMP

Faru Graphite Corporation Limited (FGCL) is a joint venture company formed via the Framework Agreement signed on. 13th December 2021 between Mahenge Resources Limited (MRL), owning 84 % and the Government of Tanzania (GoT). owning 16 & Free Carried Interest for the development of the Graphite deposits in Morogoro Region. Under the Framework Agreement tennis, FGCL has been formally established to develop the Mahenge Graphite Mining Project.
FGCL invites experienced and reputable contractors with demonstrable capability and willingness w perform the related works to express their interest in far the Design, Supply and Installation of the Accommodation Camp as defined in the Scope of Work.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE SCOPE OF WORK
The Accommodation Camp Scope of Works for the Mabenge Graphite Project (MGP) includes the following:
- The design. supply and installation of the Mahenge Accommodation Camp for the MGP. The Camp will house construction and operations personnel that do to live in the Mabenge area. The Camp shall be a complete and permanent operating Camp provided on a turkey basis including all fittings, equipment and small items.
- The Camp shall provide accommodation for 320 people in tore). The rooms will be 2 combinations of 128 ensued Tones and 96 shared rooms (with 192 beds) with external ablutions.
- The camp common facilities will be sized based on the local camp capacity of 320 persons and shall include dry mess, camp Management office, security gate house, gymnasium, recreation room, wet mess, maintenance ‘workshop. incinerator for camp waste and laundry rooms.
- The above services are intended to be awarded through a competitive tendering process. A restricted number of suitable qualified and experienced contractors shall be invited to receive the tender document. If your Company would like to be considered for pre-qualification to receive an invitation to tender, please submit an “Expression of Interest” on your Company’s letterhead together with the following required documents.

- Full Company Profile.
- Company Code of Conduct and Ethics.
- Certified Copy of Registration’ Incorporation Certificate.
- Certified Copy of a valid Tax Clearance Certificate.
- Certified Copy of Memorandum and Articles of Association’ Partnership Deed.
- Certified Copy of TIN and VRN Certificate.
- Certified Copy of Business Licence’ Sectorial Permit.
- Certified Copy of current detailed BRELA standard search.
- Demonstrate compliance with The Mining (Local Content) Regulations, 2018 by having the Local Content
Plan approved by the Mining Commission.
Outline of any proposed joint venture (J\’) partnerships including:
Longevity of partnerships
Previous work executed by the partnerships
Leading partner
Operations structure of partnerships
2. EXPERIENCE and CAPABILITY
- Overview of your recent Accommodation village construction experience with clients and projects of this scale, nature, and location.
- Details of workload projection for the next six to twelve months in terms of projects.
- Brief method statement of how your Company would execute the services.
- Curriculum Vitae outlining years of service and experience of key personnel assigned to the project.
- List of Client references for similar work completed.
- Outline of proposed organizational and project structure to which the project will be governed.
- Outline of resources with experience related to the scope of work (CV’s and project reference).
- Outline of resource pool categorized as indirect, project supervision and direct labour.
3. FINANCIAL POSITION AND TERMS OF TRADE
Financial capacity to complete the required services. including audited and certified financial statements (2019-2021).
At least one (1) reference from the applicant’s banker regarding their credit position.
4. SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
- Certified OSHA Compliance Certificate.
- Certified Workers Compensation Fund Certificate’ any proof of compliance.
- Environmental Management Plan ‘Programme: Policy.
- Health and Safety Programmed.
