REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI)
FOR SUPPLY, IMPLEMENTATION, MIGRATION AND SUPPORT FOR NEW CORE BANKING SYSTEM FOR CRDB BANK PLC
1. CRDB Bank Plc has set aside funds for its operations for the financial year 2019. It is intended that part of these the funds will be used to cover eligible payments under the contract for Supply, Implementation, Migration and Support for new Core Banking System.
2. The Bank is seeking for Expression of Interest (EOI) from qualified Firms or Consortia to Supply, Implement, Migrate and Support the new Core Banking System for CRDB Bank Plc.
3. The Bank now invites eligible Firms or Consortia to indicate their interest in Supply, Implementation, Migration and Annual Maintenance / Support Services.
4. The proposed system must be platform agnostic i.e. the system should be able to run on any common hardware, operating system or database platform
5. The proposed system should be aligned with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) principles
6. Interested Firms or Consortia must provide information indicating that they are qualified and experienced to Supply, Implement, Migrate and Support Core Banking Systems by submitting the following information – company profile, description of similar
7. A shortlist of Firms or Consortia will be developed on the basis of the Expression of Interest (EOI) submitted to CRDB Bank Plc. The selection will be conducted through a two-staged “Quality Based” process. Initial short listing shall be conducted based on Technical & Functional Capabilities, Experience and Skills whereas the second short listing shall be done based on a presentation covering previous similar assignments, experience and capabilities in conjunction with due diligence of reference sites and Head Offices of the participating Firms or Consortia
8. Interested eligible Firms or Consortia may obtain further information from the office of the CRDB Bank Tender Committee Secretary, CRDB Head Office along Azikiwe Street, 1st Floor, Office of Accommodation Scheme Building, from 8:00AM to 5:00PM Local Time on Monday to Friday excluding public holidays.
9. All Tenders in one original, duly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the Tender Box on the 1st Floor, CRDB Head Office, along Azikiwe Street, Office Accommodation Scheme Building, Opposite New Post Office, P. O. Box 268, Dar es Salaam before 1100 hours’ local time on 27th September, 2019. All Tenders clearly marked, should be addressed to the Secretary Management Tender Committee CRDB Bank Plc, P. O. 10. All Expressions of Interest will be opened in public and in the presence of Bidder’s representatives who will choose to attend the opening ceremony at CRDB Head Office Meeting Room situated on the 1st Floor on 27th September, 2019 at 1100 hours’ local time.
11. Late Tenders, a portion of Tenders, Electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, and not opened and not read out in public at the Tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances
