The United Republic of Tanzania has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the DART improvement project and intends to apply part of the process for consulting services
The consulting services (the services) will include
- To assess the structural integrity of the building
- To establish preliminary and detailed scope of the renovation works of the entire building
- Preparation of engineering design and architectural design and drawing for the TOMC
- To undertake a detail function design and the communications network which is imperative o ensure a reliable communications network design between the TOMC Data centres and the other BRT Nodes and preparation of tender document including other specifications and bill of quantities (BOQ) required for procurement of refurbishment works and office furniture and other items
DART now invites eligible consulting firms to indicate their interest in providing the services, interested consultant should provide information demonstration that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the services. The short listing criteria are Eligibility, experience in similar assignment in last 10 yrs, experience in similar conditions and availability of appropriate skills among staff
The attention of interest consultants is drawn to paragraph 1.9 of the World Bank’s guidelines selection and employment of consultants (under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & grants) by World Bank borrower’s guidelines for the selection and employment of consultants under the IRBD Loans and IDA credit & grants dated January 2011 available on www.worldbank.org/procure
Consultants may associate with other firms in the form of a joint venture or a sub consultancy to enhance their qualifications
A consultancy will be selected in accordance with the consultancy qualifications based selection method set out in the consultant guidelines
