REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (Eol) CONSULTANCY SERVICES GOVERNMENT RELATIONS CONSULTANT
INTRODUCTION /BACKGROUND
The Henry Jackson Foundation Medical Research International (HJFMRl-Tanzania) is an international non-governmental organizan’on working in several countries providing care and treatment to people affected by HIV/AIDS and conducting research studies. HJFMRl-T is funded by the US President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) through the Walter Reed Army Institute of Researgh (WRAIR). In collaboration with the Ministry of Health, Community Development, Gender, Elderly, and Children (MoHCDGEC), HJFMRl-T has been supporting a comprehensive HIV/AIDS care and support program in the Southern Highlands of Tanzania since 2004.
SCOPE
HJFMRl-T is inviting potential interested Individual consultant to express their interest to undertake consultancy services on Government relations for providing guidance on the modalities of working with Tanzania Government The Government relations consultant will be responsible to build up organization network supporters to improve our collaboration with Government and ensure compliance to all aspect of our operations.
QUALIFICATION CRITERIA
In order to qualify the interested individual or Organization MUST be eligible for carrying out the above tasks having been registered for a minimum period of two years on date of submission of their application to HJFMRI and should provide an attested copy of registration documents
Individual consultant or an organization that has been blacklisted or placed under funding restriction by any Government or Donor Agencies in the past will not be considered.
The RFP will be issued upon request either through e-mails or a written letter. The vendor is required to provide information/company profile including documents that justify proper registration with relevant authorities such as Tax Identification Number (TIN).Value added Tax WAT)“ applicable . certificate of incorporation, and any other relevant documents in the proposal
The interested organizations/individuals will be selected in accordance with the US Federal Acquisition and PEPFAR requirements.
