Provision of Services and Management of TICTS CCTV IT Hardware and Systems

Tanzania International Container Terminal Services, (TICTS) located at Dar es Salaam, is the country’s largest container terminal operator. The Port of Dar es Salaam handles more than 75 per cent of Tanzania’s trade and is a vital gateway not just to Tanzania, but also to Eastern, Central and Southern Africa. The port is strengthening its role as the country’s maritime gateway, investing in modern IT systems and mobile equipment while constantly improving its productivity levels, efficiency and customer service.

Tanzania International Container Terminal Services is a member of Hutchison Ports, the port and related services division of CK Hutchison Holdings Limited (CK Hutchison). 1. Background:

TICTS is inviting CCTV and IT vendors to assist with the management of its CCTV IT hardware and systems.

2. Scope:

To understand and identify Vendors with proven Capabilities in:

(a): Management of CCTV IT Systems and infrastructure.

(b): Internal available skills in the management of servers, storage and all related hardware with respect to CCTV infrastructure.

(c): AXIS/Milestone partnership or authorization to manage their applications, cameras and systems in Tanzania inclusive of licenses.

(d): Vendor should be based in Dar es Salaam.

3. Expectation:

(a): Management of hardware will be within TICTS premises/Data Centres and TICTS network infrastructure.

(b): TICTS expects the vendor will manage its CCTV servers, storage and Camera maintenance and assist in interacting with the TICTS IT and Security Departments to ensure that CCTV is available 24/7 365 days.

(c): Footage retention, resolution and prioritization period will be agreed with TICTS Security Manager.

(d): Any requirement to expand capacity or upgrade hardware will be the responsibility of the Vendor but will be discussed with TICTS Security Department and Management. Vendor should display capability in managing any additional requirements.

(e): Indication of existing comprehensive SLA and Key Service Elements comprised in the Comprehensive SLAs.
