PROVISION OF GROUND HANDLING SERVICES AT TAA MANAGED AIRPORTS
Invitation to Bid
Date: 4th March, 2020
1. The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania presented by Tanzania Airports Authority is intending to procure ground handling service provider at TAA Managed Airport. This invitation for bids is the outcome of the government policy to liberals the aviation industry in Tanzania
2. This invitation for bids open to qualified ground handling companies registered and having license issued by TAA. TAA now invites sealed bids from eligible services providers for providing ground handling services at TAA Airports as listed below

3. Bidding will be conducted though international competitive bidding(ICB) for Lot 1 and National competitive bidding for lot 2 -10
4. Prospective bidders must comply with licensing requirements stated in the TAA(Ground Handling Services) Regulations 2007, Government notice No. 194 of 2007
5. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents at the office of the secretary, TAA Board Terminal I, P.O. BOX 18000 Dar es Salaam from 7:30 – 3:30 pm Monday – Friday inclusive exclusive public holidays
6. A complete set of tendering document in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested tenders on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of non-refundable fee of Tshs 100,000 payment should be done though government electronic payment gateway after obtaining control number issued by the director general of TAA
7. All bids must be accompanied by bid security in an acceptable from the amount of US $ 500 or TSH 1,000,000.00 for lot 1 and bid securing declaration for lot 2
8. All bids in one original plus 2 copies properly filled in and enclosed in plain envelopes clearly marked BID NO AE-027/2019-2020/JNIA/N/59 for provision of ground handling services at TAA Managed airports do not open before 11.00 local time on Friday 20th March 2020 for lot 2 -10 and Thursday 26th March 2020 for lot 1. Bud must be delivered to the address below Secretary TAA Tender Board TAA Head Office Terminal I, P.O. BOX 18000 DSM at or before 11;00 on Friday 20th March 2020 for LOT 2-10 & 26TH March 2020 for lot 1, bids will be open promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of tenders representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the PMU Conference room located at TAA HQ Terminal I
9. Late bids, portion of bids, electronic bids not received and not opened and not read out in public at the bid opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances
