1.The United Republic of Tanzania has received financing from the world bank towards the cost of the sector support project and intends to apply parts of the proceeds towards eligible payment under the contract for the proposed construction of the water resources centre of the excellence building in Dodoma Municipality
2. The Ministry of Water now invites sealed tenders from eligible bidders registered contractors registration board class III and above for proposed construction of the water resources centre of the excellence building in Dodoma Municipality
3. bidding will be conducted through the national competitive bidding procedures as specified in the world bank guidelines procurement of goods, works and non-consultancy under IRBD Loans and IDA Credits and grants by world bank borrowers dated January 2011 and revised July 2014(procurement guidelines) and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the procurement guidelines, in addition please refer to paragraph 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the world bank policy on conflict of interest
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the office of Secretary, Ministerial Tender Board, and Ministry of Water PO. Box 456 Dodoma, Tanzania and inspect th bidding document during the office hours from 9:00 – 15:00 Local hours at the address given below
5. A complete set of Tendering Document(s) ‘in English language may be purchased interested bidders upon the submission of written application to the address below and upon payment of non refundable fee of Tsh 200,000.00 (Tanzania Shillings two hundred thousand only) . Payment shall be made through the electronic payment system therefore interested bidders are invited to collect the Control number for effecting the payment
6. Bids must be delivered to the Secretary of Tender Board Office Ministry of Water P. O. Box 456 Dodoma, PMU office, Colon Building opposite DUWASA Head. Office at or before 11:00 hours local time on 8th September, 2020, electronic bidding will not permitted, late bids will be rejected, bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidder’s designation representatives’ and nay one who choose to attend at the address below the Secretary, Ministerial Tender Board PMU Office Ministry of Water, Kolon Building opposite DUWASA Head office, P.O. BOX 456 DODOMA on 8th September 2020
7. All bids must be accompanied by a Tender Securing of a conditional guarantee issued by a bank the amount and currency of the bid security shall be TSH 50,000,000.00
