Pre-qualification of insurance service providers
Invitation for Pre-qualification
The TIB Development Bank Limited has set aside funds to be used during the financial year 2019. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the funds will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for provision of insurance service.
The TIB Development Bank Limited now invites sealed applications for pre-qualification from eligible National providers of Insurance Services for Life Assurance, Medical Insurance, General Insurance and Agriculture Insurance.
The pre-qualification will be conducted through the procedures specified in the Public Procurement (Regulations, 2013 Government Notice No. 446 as amended in 2016 and is open to all eligible service providers as defined in the Regulations.

All applications in one original plus one copy, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address TIB Development Bank Limited, Building Number 3, Mlimani City Office, Sam Nujoma Road, Dar es Salaam on or before 5th September 2019 at 1100hrs. Applications for pre-qualification will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the TIB Meeting Room.
Late Tenders, portion of Tenders, electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, and not opened and not read out in public at the opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
