TENDER FOR
PRE- QUALIFICATION FOR SUPPLY OF MEDICINES, DIAGNOSTICS, LABORATORY REAGENTS, MEDICAL SUPPLIES AND MEDICAL EQUIPMENTS FOR PUBLIC HEALTH FACILITIES (Hospital, Health centers and Dispensaries) IN MOROGORO
1. The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania through the President’s Office Regional Administration and Local Government has set aside funds towards the cost of Supply of Medicines, Diagnostics ,Laboratory Reagents, Medical Supplies and Medical Equipment’s.“ intends to apply part of the proceeds of these funds to cover the eligible payments under framework contract for Supply of Medicines and Medical Supplies for Public Health Facilities. The Government through Regional Secretariats of Morogoro intends to pre-qualify Applicants for Supply of Medicines and Medical Supplies. It is expected that the invitations for tender to shortlisted Applicants will be made in October, 2019.
2. Pre-qualification will be conducted through the procedures specified in Regulation 119 of the Public Procurement Regulations (Government Notice 446) of 2013and is open to all Applicants as defined in the Regulations.
3. Interested Applicants may obtain further information from and inspect the pre-qualification documents at the Regional Administrative Secretary office, along Boma Road P.o.Box 650 Morogoro from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm from Monday to Friday except on public holidays.

5. Applicants on the submission of a written application to the address of Regional Administrative Secretary office, Morogoro as indicated in Paragraph 3 and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tshs 150,000.00. Payment should be by Cash payable to Regional Administrative Secretary.
6. All applications should consist of one original hardcopy plus two (2) hardcopies and one (1) electronic copy properly filled in and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the Secretary, Regional Tender Board at or before 10:00 am date of 10th September, 2019. Applications will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Applicants’ representatives who will choose to attend the opening ceremony to be held at the Regional Administrative Secretary’s Office.
7. Late applications, portion of applications, electronic applications, and applications not received, application’s not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall “0* be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
