PRE-QUALIFICATION FOR PROVISION OF AUCTIONING SERVICES

INVITATION FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION
1 The Deposit Insurance Board (DIB) intends to procure Auctioning Services.
2. On behalf of the Deposit Insurance Board, the Bank of Tanzania now invites interested, competent and reputable Auctioneers to apply to be prequalified for provision of Auctioning Services. It is expected that, invitation to tender will be made as and when need arises.
3. Pre-qualification will be conducted through the procedures specified in Regulation 119 of the Public Procurement (Regulations Government Notice 446 of 2013), and is open to all Applicants as defined in the Regulations.
4. Interested applicants may obtain further information and inspect the pre qualification documents at the office of the Secretary of Bank of Tanzania Tender Board, Head Office, 2nd Floor, South Tower at 2 Mirambo Street, P.O. Box 2939, 11884, Dar es Salaam. Email: [email protected], Tel: +255 22 2235195: Fax: +255 22 2234054 from 0830 hours to 1230 hours and from 14.30 to 16.30 hours on Mondays to Friday inclusive except on Public holidays.
5. A complete set of prequalification documents in English may be purchased by interested Applicants on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph four (4) above and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of (TZS 100,000.00). Payment should either be Electronic Payment Transfer (Account Name: Tender Application Fee, Account Number: 9944712601 or Banker’s Cheque payable to the Bank of Tanzania).
6. All Pre-qualification documents in one original plus two copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the : Secretary of Bank of Tanzania Tender Board, Head Office, 2nd Floor, South Tower at 2 Mirambo Street P. O. Box 2939 11884 Dar es Salaamat or before 11:00 hours, Thursday,12th September 2019.
7. Prequalification documents will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of representatives of Applicants who choose to attend in the opening at the Bank of Tanzania Prospective Currency Museum Hall, Ground Floor, South Tower, at 2 Mirambo Street, PO. Box 2939,11884 Dar es Salaam.
8. Late applications, portion of applications, electronic applications, and applications not received, applications not opened and not read out in Public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
