PER-QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUPPLIERS OF LABORATORY EQUIPMENT, CHEMICALS, REFERENCE STANDARD, MEDIA GLASSWARE, CONSUMABLE AND MAINTENANCE OF LABORATORY EQUIPMENT’S FOR FINANCIAL YEAR 2020/2021
INVITATION FOR PER-QUALIFICATIONS
- Tanzania Medicines and Medical Devices Authority (TMDA) has a set aside fund I its budget towards to the cost for the supply of various laboratory equipments, chemicals, reference standards and media glassware and consumable and maintenance of laboratory equipments and it intends to apply part of the proceed of this fund for payment under the contract for which pre-qualifications is issued. It’s expected that invitation to bid will be made in financial year 2020/2021
- Pre-qualifications will be conducted through the procedures specified in regulations 119 of the public procurement goods and works non consultancy services and disposal of public assets by tender) regulations – government notice 446 0f 2013 and is open to all firms and voluntarily formed joint venture
- TMDA now invites sealed proposals for pre-qualifications of supplies and services in the following categories

| 3 | Supplies of laboratory reference standards and media |
| 4 | Supplies of laboratory glassware and consumable |
| 5 | Service providers for provision of preventive maintenance of laboratory |
The prospective supplies and service providers may submit the pre-qualifications document for one or more lot
- Interested consultants may obtain further information from and inspect the pre-qualifications document at the office of the Secretary Tender board 1st floor room no 27 P.O. BOX 77150 OFF Mandela road – Mabibo Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, Tel 24550512/2450751 Fax 2405793 from 9:00 – 15:30 hours on Monday – Friday inclusive except public holidays
- A complete set of tendering document may be obtained from the above mentioned office for any interested eligible tender and will be evaluated upon payment of nonrefundable fee of TZS 30,000.00 The method of payment should be GePG after collecting the respective control number
- Application for the pre-qualifications should be submitted in one original plus one copy in sealed envelopes deliverers to the secretary or either by hand sent by registered post as to reach the secretary through the address name in para 4 above before 14:00 local time on 28th July 2020 and be cleared marked pre-qualifications for suppliers of respective lot for the year of 2020/2021. Tenders by post must be registered
- Application for pre qualifications in form of telegraphic, telex, tele fax and email will not be accepted and those which will not be received and not opened in public at the public bid opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances
