SOS Children’s Tanzania is locally registered non – government organization affiliated to SOS villages international a worldwide childcare organization that provides children who have lost parental care with a permanent home and help them shape their own future by assisting them to recognize their individual abilities, interest and talents by investing in their education and developing their skills for them to be successful and contributing members of their society. SOS villages Tanzania assist families, communities and government to assume their responsibilities in ensuring that children have access to services required to fulfill their survival development protection and participation rights. Its operation centers around two major programmers i.e alternative care (family like care) and family strengthening programmes. SOS villages Tanzania & Zanzibar started its operations in 1991 and currently operate in Arusha, Dar e =s Salaam, Mwanza, Iringa and Zanzibar ( Unguja & Pemba)
BRIEF OF THE ASSIGNMENT
SOS is looking for the competent reputable law firm which will support and provide legal advice guidance to the organization and represent the organization in different entities as per need. To provide comprehensive legal advice to SOS Children Village in relation to contract development design and management. Advising and assisting with issues relating to SOS basic country agreement with the government of Tanzania provision of legal audit services in the business of the client, including but not limited to legal due diligence on the clients current and prospective business and always ensuring that the business of the client is conducting within the ambit of the la. Dealing with any other matter that SOS may from time to time refer by written notice
The legal firms should possess the following knowledge and skills
- A detailed company profile with personnel holding a master’s degree with specialization in employment and labor relations act, industrial relation or any related field
- At least 10 years’ experience in providing legal services of the same matter
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
