TANZANIA AUTOMOTIVE TECHNOLOGY CENTRE (TATC) – NYUMBU
INVITATION FOR BIDS
1. Tanzania Automotive Technology Centre (TATC – Nyumbu) shall during the Financial Year 2019/2020, receive funds from the Government through the Ministry of Defence and National Service, to cover for eligible payments under Contracts of various Tenders.
2. The TATC Tender Board now invites sealed bids from reputable and capable bidders for the Supply of various goods, services and works mentioned here below, for the centre:-

Each Tender will be treated independently. Bidders may bid for a single tender or a combination of tenders but in each
Case bidders must quote for all items and quantities in each tender. Bidders not quoting for all items and quantities in
a tender will be considered non-responsive.
3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the Bidding Documents at the Office of the Secretary, TATC Tender Board, Kibaha Nyumbu (5 Km off Morogoro Road Northwards from “Kwa Mathias”). Private Bag Nyumbu, Kibaha from 7.30 am to 3.30 p.m. Local time, on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on Public Holidays.
4. A complete set of Bidding Documents and additional sets may be purchased by Interested bidders upon payment of a non refundable fee of TShs. 50,000/= (Tanzania Shillings) or its equivalent in freely convertible currency. Payment should be either by Bankers Draft account No.022101003257 Ubungo Branch Cash or Bankers Cheque, to the Director General, Tanzania Automotive Technology Centre.
5. All bids, prepared in English, properly filled in, quoted in Tanzania Shillings enclosed in plain envelope containing one original plus two copies should be addressed to the Secretary, TATC Tender Board, Private Bag, Nyumbu, Kibaha. All bids must either be delivered by hand or sent by registered post so as to reach the Secretary, TATC Tender Board before the deadline of submission of bids.
6. The deadline for submission of bids is 10.00 hours local time on the 29th May, 2019. Bids will be opened in public in the presence of bidders or representatives who choose to attend in the TATC Board Room at 10.30 hours local time on 29th May 2019, the outer cover shall be clearly marked “TENDER NO. ………………………………….. “for“………….………..”
7. Tender prices should be valid for a period of 90 days.
8. TATC reserves the right to accept or reject any tender, without being bound to give the reasons thereof.
9. Telegraphic, telefax and late non-telegraphic tenders will not be accepted. Bids not received and not opened in public at the bid opening ceremony, shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
