INVITATION FOR TENDERS
TENDER NO. LGA/115/2018/2019/W/ No.02.
The United Republic of Tanzania has received Loan from the World Bank during the financial year 2018/2019 towards the cost of ‘ULGSP’ Projects and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this Loan to cover eligible payments under the contract for Upgrading of Roads (1.0 km), Salmini Road 0.6km and Karume Road jet – Semali – Singida Road 0.4km to Bitumen Standard at Singida Municipality
The Singida Municipal Council now invites sealed Tenders from eligible National contractors registered in Class (I) one in Civil Works for carrying out the Upgrading of Roads (1.0 km), Salmini Road 0.6km and Karume Road jet – Semali – Singida Road 0.4km to Bitumen Standard at Singida Municipality.

Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, Government Notice No.446 of 2013 and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations unless otherwise stated in the Tender Data Sheet.
Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Secretary of the Tender Board at Singida Municipal Council Office from 07:30Am to 03:30Pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
A complete set of Tendering Documents) in English Language and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 100,000 Tshs. Payment should either be by Cash, Banker’s Draft, or Banker’s Cheque through Bank Account No.50810001460 NMB, payable to Municipal Director, Singida Municipal Council.
All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender security in an acceptable form in the amount of 25% of The Contractor’s Tender (BIDS) as Stated in Tendering Documents.
All Tenders in One (1) Original plus Three (3) Copies properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address

At or before Tuesday 2nd July 2019 at 10:30Am. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the Singida Municipal Head Office.
Late Tenders portion of Tenders, electronic Tenders, and Tenders not received, Tenders not opened at the Tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
