SOS Children’s Villages Tanzania is a local non-government organization affiliated to SOS Children’s Villages International, a worldwide child care organization that provides orphaned and destitute children with a permanent home and educational opportunities. Established 60 years ago, SOS Children’s Villages International the umbrella organization. currently has Children’s Villages and other projects in 135 countries around the world. Globally, it runs the SOS Children’s Village Programme which has two main arms, i.e. Family Based Care based at SOS Children’s Villages and Family Strengthening Programmes supporting families in local communities. SOS has been working in the United Republic of Tanzania since 1991, and implements its programs in Zanzibar, Arusha, Dar es Salaam and Mwanza and Iringa. .
Project Description SOS Children’s Village wishes to improve the living and working environment of children and staff thr0ugh extension of administration office building. , ’
Invitation requirements
SOS Children’s Village Dar es Salaam is inviting applications from qualified, experienced, and capable General Building and Civil Contractors who have competency in delivering construction projects on time and within budget, and who have considerable experience construction projects to tender for proposed office extension.
Expression of interest submissions must include Company’s Performance, Eligibility and Litigation History; Company’s compliance to local regulations; Company’s capability in terms of relevant resources within the company which includes the organization structure, equipment, and technical expertise. Past Similar Project Experience highlighting relevant project experience of similar size and complexity in the past 3 years, added bonus is if company has experience in children homes construction experience. Company’s Financial Capability with good cash flows and stability and References the company must provide at a minimum 3 references from Client or Consultants indicating successful completion of projects

The following key specific areas and compliances are being sought via this expression of interest; Company Profile, Business License, TIN Certificate, VAT registration certification, Certificate of Incorporation, Bank References and other relevant information to support your expression of interest.
SOS Children’ 5 Village Dar es Salaam reserves the right to accept or reject any Bid. and to annui in whole or in part, or to suspend the bidding process and reject all Bids at any time and without reason prior to award. without thereby incurring any liability to the affected Bidder.
