The International Executive Service Corps is a Washington DC based economic development not-profit organization that provides technical assistance to public sector institution and private sector companies around the world IESC has contributed successfully to the growth and development of private enterprise in more than 130 countries’ since its inception in 1964
Within Tanzania content International Executive Service Corps Is the prime implementer of the feed future Tanzania enabling growth through investment and enterprise program launched in September 2016. ENGINE is four years initiative funded by USAID with the aims of streaming and enhancing many of the regulatory informational and financial channels that encourage domestic and foreign investment in the southern mainland agriculture regions of Mbeya, Morogoro, and Iringa and in Zanzibar
ENGINE woks at the local Government authorities level using a broad-based approach to engage with LGAs private sector association business development services provider financial institutions and small medium enterprise. The programs activities are divided into three main components
- Implement policy for growth, build the capacity of the private sector to effectively dialogue with the government to set the policy agenda and improve the capacity of the public sector implementations
- Equip business for growth, strengthening SMe capacity and foster the growth and capacity od sustainable market business development services in Tanzania
- Access to finance for growth, broaden access to finance for small and medium size enterprise in all sector especially women and youth entrepreneurs and those working within agricultural value chains to facilitate increased business viability, growth and investment
The ENGINE program is seeking short-term consultant to provide technical support in the above mentioned program areas under the following tittles
Consultant 1. Food Security and Nutrition Policy
Assignment To review and update the Zanzibar’s Food Security and nutrition policy
Location Zanzibar
Consultant 2. Local Government Social Economics Profile
Assignment To review and update the social economic profile for Morogoro Municipal Council to the acceptable standards
Location Morogoro
Consultant 3. Institutional Development for the nutrition sector
Assignment the objective of the assignment is to build the capacity of LGA’s multi-sector nutrition steering committees and community health worker in Iringa MC Mbeya CC and Morogoro MC To identify Agri-nutrition policy concern
