- This invitation for expression of interest follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN)which appeared in N/A Issue no. N/A dated 07/08/2020.
- The Vice President’s Office received/has applied for/intends to apply for a grant from the Global Environment Facility (GEF)/ Least Developed Countries Fund (LDCF) towards the cost of Ecosystem-Based Adaptation for Rural Resilience in Tanzania and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this grant to cover eligible payments under the contract for sub-contract social and environmental safeguards.
- The Vice President’s Office now invites eligible Firms to indicate their interest in providing the services which include TENDER NO: ME/002/2019 – 2020/VPO/C/01- 3 For Provision Of Consultancy For Social And Environmental safeguard- EBARR
- Interested Firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services by submitting consultant’s profile, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.
- A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the Public Procurement Act No. 7 of 2011 and the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 – Government Notice No. 446 (hereinafter called Procurement Regulations).
- Selection will be conducted through the Quality and Cost based selection procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations.

- Expressions of Interest (EoI) must be electronically submitted in the proper format, at or before 21/08/2020, 10:00
