Expression of Interest

1. This invitation for expression of interest follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN)which appeared in TANePS Issue no Online dated 23/06/2020.
2. The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the Medical Stores Department during the financial year 2020/2021. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the Expression of Interest for Individual Consultant for the Provision of Consultancy Service for ESIA on Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Initiative at MSD.
3. The Medical Stores Department now invites eligible Individual consultants to indicate their interest in providing the services which include Provision of Consultancy Services for ESIA on Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Initiative at MSD for a period of 12 weeks from signing of the contract.
6. Interested Individual consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services by submitting consultant’s profile, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. Consultants may not associate to enhance their qualifications.7. A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the Public Procurement Act No. 7 of 2011 and the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 – Government Notice No. 446 (hereinafter called Procurement Regulations).
8. Selection will be conducted through the Quality and Cost based selection procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations.
9. Interested eligible consultants may obtain further information from the office of the Secretary of the Tender Board, Medical Stores Department, Keko Mwanga, P. O. Box 9081, Dar es Salaam, [email protected] from 07:30-15:30 on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
10. Expressions of Interest (EoI) must be electronically submitted in the proper format, at or before 13/11/2020, 10:00
11. Late Expressions of Interest shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
