EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
FOR ACQUISITION OF LAND/BUILDING AT ILALA MUNICIPALITY (GONGOLAMBOTO) DAR ES SALAAM FOR DISTRICT OFFICE

- TANESCO is an autonomous Government organization with the mission to generate and distribute electricity. The company has it HQ in Dodoma and extend to over 28 regions divide into 7 zones and more than 92 districts all over the country. Due to an increase number of customers the company has decided to purchase a property for TANESCO District office so that the number of customers will be attended timely in case of emergency cases and obtain other company services through these offices
- TANESCO intends to acquire lad/building and therefore issues this expression of interest for the purpose of the identifying properties owners who have an interest in offering their land/building for sale
Selection criteria will be as follows
• Cover letter should indicate the leger owner of the land
• The owner should state history of land issue
• Owner should have full legal document i.e Tittle deed
• Land should be within Ilala Municipality(Gongolamboto)
• The plot should have measuring in the range of 4,000 t0 6,00 Square meters in Ilala Municipality
• The land should be along the street road for easy accessibility y services and customers cars and pedestrians
• Location should be Ukonga to Banana Mzambarauni
• Also the location should be not more than 200 meters from main road
• The land should be part of mortgagee at any bank or other financial institutions
- TANESCO now invite the expression of interest from owners of land/building in the area specified above. The land/building shall have the easy to access the general public and within a friendly environment that is appropriate for the company business
- On receipt of such expression of interest the said land/building will be inspected for preminary shortlist of those areas that meet requirements under para 2 above. Owners of the shortlisted land/building would be requested to submit their financial offers for scrutiny and comparison prior entering into contract with the lowest evaluated owner
- The expression of interest can be forwarded by owners of their representative enclosing legally binding authorization to administer on his/her behalf including finalizing the agreement
- Interested eligible owners of the land/building may also obtain expression of interest document through TANEPS
- Expression of interest document in one scanned copy submitted through TANEPS properly marked Tender No. PA/001/2019/20/DZN/G/44 FOR ACQUISITION OF LAND/BUILDING AT ILALA MUNICIPALITY (GONGOLAMBOTO) DAR ES SALAAM FOR DISTRICT OFFICE at ir before 14:30 HRS 21 ST April 2020 if owner has more than one plot to be offered a separate expression of interest has to be submitted for each plot
- Deadline for submission will be at or before 14:30 local times 21st April 2020 on Wednesday and opening will be thereafter through TANEPS
