Rafiki Social Development Organization known by its abbreviated form as Rafiki -SDO is a membership Non-Governmental and Nonprofit making Organization working to promote the rights of children, youth, and other marginalized vulnerable groups of people in the community so as they can realize their rights and reach their full potential. Rafiki-SDO was established in January 2005 and registered under the NGO Act of 2002, issued a certificate of registration No. 00NGO/OOOO6336, to operate in Tanzania mainland.
RAFIKI-SDO has its head quarter in Kahama Town Council, Mhongolo ward, Mhongolo Street and branch offices in Shinyanga Municipal Council and Musoma Municipal Council.
RAFIKI-SDO is currently undertaking initiatives to upgrade its accounting information management system from manual to software/online system.
RAFIKI-SDO invites Expression of Interest from a suitably qualified and experienced local consultancy (Firms or Individual) to perform installation and training of accounting information management system software.
SCOPE OF WORK.
The consultancy will install one of the following accounting packages (1-3);
- SAGE 200 Evolution ERP Accounting software
- QuickBooks Online Premier Accountant 2019
- Pastel Accounting Software.
- Conducting staff training
The consultant also will install accounting information management system software which will enable online preparation, reviews and approvals of accounting documents such as requests and payment vouchers.
DELIVERABLES:
The consultancy will install one of the following accounting packages;
SAGE 200 Evolution ERP Accounting software
QuickBooks Online Premier Accountant 2019
(The software should be that can be operated from different location offices e.g Shinyanga, Kahama and Musoma offices).
Online requests, Preparations, Reviews and Approvals system of accounting documents including Payment vouchers, Imprest requests and concept note.
Management web application
Payroll system
Maintenance and Debugging
QUALIFICATIONS
The suitable Consultant will be required to:
Be registered consultancy firm/individual.
Have extensive experiences in accounting information software systems
installations, training and support.
Have a strong track record in conducting accounting information systems installation.
SELECTION CRITERIA
Interested consultancy are requested to provide following information in their Expression of Interest:
A statement confirming the capacity to perform the scope of work
A statement of skills and qualifications of personnel to be involved
The proposed methodology
A quotation for performing the task (a separate quotation for each accounting software ie for SAGE 200, QuickBooks , and Pastel)
SUBMISSION
Qualified consultancy that meet the above requirements are invited to submit a letter expressing interest in and suitability for the assignment above (technical proposal) together with financial proposal/quotation.
