Expression of Interest (EOI) for supply and implementation of Core Banking System (CBS)

The NMB Bank Plc. Management Tender Committee now invites eligible, qualified and experienced vendors to express their interest to supply and implement the solution as described above
The Selection and final shortlisting of vendors will be conducted through the Open Competitive Tendering Procedures as specified in the NMB Bank Plc. Procurement Policy and Procedures.
This is not a request for proposals henceforth after a review of the submitted proposals for the expression of interest, a shortlist will be prepared.
Shortlisted vendors will be invited to submit their financial proposals through a request for proposal document, which will be shared.
The selection /short listing Criteria will include
- Possession of registration certificate from relevant authorities, business license, company certificate of incorporation TIN,VAT Registration.
- The company must have not less than five years experience in Implementing similar solution for similar project magnitude’
- The company must have completed projects of similar nature and complexity in different organizations.
- Indicate the list of at least five projects similar nature and complexity in the past five years.
- Submit the list of key technical staff with their CVs demonstrating their ability to carry out the assignment. Documentary evidence of financial capability, experience and capacity to undertake the assignment including two (3) years company audited financial reports.
- Current physical location (which will be inspected for verification); that Is a valid right of occupancy of office premises or lease contract
- Submission of certified power of attorney document
- Submission of certified declaration on Litigation information regarding your firm.
- Please note that in assessing the submissions, consideration will be given to the qualifications, experience on similar assignments and capacity to undertake the assignment. Only vendors with demonstrated experience and excellent track records In similar assignments will be considered for shortlisting.
The Interested eligible vendors may obtain further Information from our website on the products and range of services provided by the bank or the Office of the Secretary, NMB Tender Committee, situated at NMB Head Office OhlolAll Hassan Mwinyi Street from 08:00HRS to 16:00HRS Monday to Friday except on public holidays.
The deadline for submission of the applications will be at 15:00HRS on 27th June, 201 9. Expression of Interest received will be opened promptly thereafter and in the presence of tenderers representatives who choose to attend in the opening ceremony at NMB Bank Plc Head office on the first floor at 1 5:00HRS on 27th June, 2019. The expression of Interest must be delivered, in a sealed envelope or by courier to the Secretary NMB Tender Committee Ohio Street/Ali Hassan Mwinyi Road, P O Box 9213, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, NMB Bank Plc Head Office on the first floor. The outer cover shall be clearly marked: Expression of Interest for Implementing a New Core Banking System Not to Be Opened Before 15:00HRS on 27th June, 2019.
Late tenders, portion of tenders, electronic tenders, and tenders not received and tenders not opened and not read out aloud in public at the bid opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation Irrespective of the circumstances. 9. The Expression of Interest must be delivered In sealed envelopes to the following address on or before 15:00HRS on 27th June, 2019.
