PUBLIC NOTICE
DISPOSAL OF SCRAPER MATERIALS FROM ONGOING CONSTRUCTION OF MODERNIZATION AT DAR ES SALAAM PORT ON 21ST MARCH 2020
Tanzania Port Authority (TPA) intends to dispose of various scraper materials in Dar es Salaam port through public actin. This public action exercise shall be conducted by M/S maracas debt collectors and auctioneers Ltd behalf of TPA The auctioneers shall be held on 21st March 2020 from 09 am to 16:00 PM at Dar es Salaam Port Premises
- The buyer shall be required to pay 25% of the price within the same day and the remaining balance be paid within 14 days from the auction date. Failure by the buyer to pay the remained balance within the stipulated time will lead to forfeiture of the amount paid earlier and re-action of the property
- Inspection goods shall take place on 19th March 2020 and 20th March 2020 from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM. All expenses related to the inspection especially transport shall be borne by the prospective buyers
- The buyers must be registered/certified by NEMC
- The successful buyer must comply with all requirement by NEMC during the removal of the scrapper materials from the port
- Prospective buyers must produce any government identification signed and stamped letter with passport size photo attached from the employee introducing the individual as a representative from the company for the said auction
- The scrapper equipment or materials will be sold in the condition as they are. The buyer must make sure has all necessary mechanism to collect the sold goods within 3o days
- The highest bidders is not necessarily the winner auctioneer has the right to serve the price
