DISPOSAL OF 165 TONES OF DEFECTIVE MAIZE (ONLY SAFE FOR ANIMAL AND POULTRY
Invitation for Tender
Date: 10th July, 2022.
1. Tanzania Zambia Railway Authority (TZR) intends to dispose 165 tons of Defective Maize (only suitable for animal and poultry consumptions). The defective maizes are disposed on “as is, basis and TAZARA shall have no further liability after sale.
2. The Tanzania Zambia Railway Authority (TZR) now invites Tenders for the purchase of 165
tons of Defective Maize (only suitable for animal and poultry consumptions).
3. Tendering will be conducted through Open Tendering procedures specified in the TAZARA Procurement and Supplies Manual.
4. Interested Tenderers may inspect the maize at Dar es Salaam good shed from 11* July, 2022
to 12th July,2022 from 10: 00 to 16:00 hours local time
5. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information by accessing a complete set of the Tendering Documents in English Language at the Office of the Secretary, TAZARA Regional Tender Board, Room No. 122, P.O.BOX 40160, Dar es salaam, Tanzania, only working hours from 08:30 to 16:00 hours.
6. All Tenders shall be accompanied by a Tender securing declaration as attached in the tender document.
7. Tenderers are required to register and pay tender participation fee of TZS 25,000/= to be able to participate in this tendering process.
8. All Tenders shall be, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered before or at 15” July,2022 11:00 hours to the Office of the Secretary, TAZARA Regional Tender Board, Ground floor, room no. 122, Mandela road, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the TAZARA Regional Conference Room, Room No. 115 & 116, 1“Floor.
9. Late Tenders, Portion of Tenders, Electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, Tenders not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
