Assignment Title: Consulting Services for Supervision of Rehabilitation of Roads (2051km) and Trans (132.Skm) to Gravel Stangard for Ruaha, Mikumi, Nyerere and Uazungwa National Parks.

This request for Expression of Interests follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared in United Nations Development Business (UNDB) Issue No. OP00057061.The Government of United Republic of Tanzania has received financing from the World Bank towards in cost of the Resilient Natural Resources Management for Tourism and Growth Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.
The consulting services (‘the services”) are expected to cover three lots (Lot 1: Mikuml, Udzungwa and Kllombero Nature Reserve, Lot 2: Nyerere and Lot 3 Ruana) to allow the consultant team to supervise construction work in an efficient and effective manner due to the remoteness and scatieredness of the toad network Infrastructure and the location of ne National Parks. Each Lot for supervision will be a standalone unit and will require an Independent team of professionals and other resources for the supervision under one Team Leader. The supervision services shall Include but not limited to General supervision activities, conducting step meetings. drawing up of monthly progress reports. Including the status of compliance with the Environmental and Social Management Plan, Health & Safety Management Plan (HSMP), Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (SEA), Sexual Harassment (SH) guidelines and owner plans of stipulated in the contract document. The duration of the assignment Is expected to be fifteen (15) and twelve (12) calendar months for Construction supervision and defect lability period respectively. The estimated level of effort to 156.00 professional staff-months.

The Tanzania National Parks (TANAPA} now Invites legible consulting firms (“Consultants”) w Indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultants should provide Information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. The shortlisting criteria are: (1) Experience in Similar Assignments – successful preparation of at least 3 similar projects (by size and complexity) In the last ten years – information to be provided should Include name of assignment, name and full contact address of the client, contract value (In equivalent US dollars) and period (cates) of execution of assignment: (&) Experience in Similar Conditions; and (mi) Technical and managerial capability of the firm (Provide only the structure of the organization, general qualifications and humbler of key staff. Do not provide CV of the key staff. Experts will not be evaluated at the shortlisting stage.
Note that: The REO for their Roade infrastructure supervision consulting services la being shortlisted concurrently with REO! for the Airstrip infrastructure supervision consulting services
and Building infrastructure supervision on consulting services and all assignments will be executed
simultaneouaty. Hence. a firm shortlisted in two of three assignments to be contracted for either
two of three assignments: It must propose separate Key Experts for each assignment in both
Technical and Financial! Proposals.
The attention of interested consultants Is drawn to paragraph 1.9 of the World Bank’s Guidelines:
Selection and Employment of Consultants under IGRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers, dated January 2011, revised July 2014. (Consultants Guidelines), setting forth the ‘Word Bank’s Polly on conflicts of interest. Consultants may associate with other firms In the form of a joint venture or a sub-consultancy to enhance the qualifications but should indicate clearly whether the association Is In the form of a joint venture And or a sub-consultancy. In the case of a joint venture, ail the partners in the joint venture shall be jointly and severally liable for the entire contract, if selected. Therefore, each member of JV shall independently meet the requirements of the evaluation criteria.
A Consultant will be selected in accordance with Quality and Cost Based Selection (QCBS) method set out in the Consultant Guidelines.

by e-mail) by 18 November 2021. The firm which will submit their REO! via e-mall must get
confirmation of the receipt of their documents from TANAPA. In case the firm does not receive
