1. This Invitation for submission of Proposals follows the General Procurement Notice for
project which appeared in www.taneps.go.tz Issue no. 010722 dated 01/07/2022.
2. The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation
of the Tanzania Bureau of Standards during the financial year 2022/2023. It is intended
that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the
contract for the Consultancy Services for Preparation of Detailed Design and Supervision
for Construction of TBS Lake Zone Laboratory.
3. The Tanzania Bureau of Standards now invites proposals to provide the following
consulting services: More details on the services are provided in the Terms of Reference.
Provision of Consultancy Services for Preparation of Detailed Design and Supervision for
Construction of TBS Lake Zone Laboratory.
6. This Request for Proposal (RFP) has been addressed to the following short-listed
Consultants:
• All qualified Consultants
It is not permissible to transfer this invitation to any other firm.
7. A firm will be selected under National Competitive Selection and procedures described
in this RFP.
