CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR INDIVIDUAL FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT EXPERT TO: TANROADS UNDER THE TRANSPORT SECTOR SUPPORT PROJECT

| 1. BACKGROUND The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has received financing from the African Development Bank towards the cost of the Transport Sector Support Program [TSSP) and intends to apply pert of the proceeds for engagement of Financial Management Consultant to Tanzania Notional Roads ‘Agency (TANROADS). TANROADS, an Agency of the Ministry of Work End Transport is looking for dynamic, motivated, creative and open-minded Individual Consultants, 2. THE DETAMS OF THE SERVICES: (i) Duties and Responsibilities The duties of the Consultant among others will include maintaining the budget recording and reflecting fully. accurately dearly and in a timely manner ‘the funds that are allocated and the disbursements for implementation, in accordance with approved annual Work plans, TANROADS and AFDB’s financial management guidelines of the projects: The successful Consultant will report to the Head of Finance & Chief Accountant end work closely with the Directorate’s staff to accomplish specific ‘task components. (i) Qualifications and Experience ‘The desired attributes for the position ere: (a) Education: ‘Sheshe must be having Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from a recognized University. {b) General Professional Experience: Sheshe must have a minimum of five [5] years cumulative experience related to Financial and so counting works, solid experience in Budgeting and Planning: and etc.) Specific Experience: i.Shathe mast have at least two 2)years of specific experience in administrative and accounting requisition’s end procedures of the Public sector and development partners; ii. Shethe must be conversant computer skills in common word processing [Ms Word], Spreadsheet (Ms. excel, and relevant Bo counting computer packages: iii. Shethe must have e working experience of at least 3 years in Sub-Saharan Africa, and iv. Shethe should be proficient in both written and spoken English. V. Evaluation Criteria Evaluation of the above qualifications end experience will be done on the following criteria and scores: : | Academic qualification 30% Adequacy for the assignment Experience; 60% Experience in Sub-Sahara Africa 10% ‘Total Score 100% (iv) Duration of The Assignment : The services will commence immediately after signing the Contract. The assignment shell be for a period of twenty-four (24) months, with the possibility of extension for the duration of the project depending on the performance. 3.
