CONSULTANCY SERVICE FOR CONDUCTING MID TERM REVIEW FOR THE COUNTRY STRATEGY PAPER (CSP IV) 2018-2022 PEOPLE ADVANCING SOCIAL JUSTICE
Action Aid Tanzania is a member of action aid international global force working with the poor and excluded women, men and children to find solution to alleviate poverty and justice. Action aid has been operating in Tanzania since 1998 and has strong grassroots presence in 8 district spread across 8 regions of Tanzania namely Mafia, Unguja, Pemba, Kilwa, Tandahimba, Newala, Chamwino and Singida. Action Aid Tanzania is known for its grounded interventions aimed at empowerment people and their institutions, partner’s alliances, social movements and supporters living in poverty and execution. This include movements that are aimed at dressing the root causes of poverty, inequality and injustice and holding duty bearers accountable to ensure the realization of human rights
In the year 2018 action aid Tanzania develop a new strategy that is built on its nested theory of change embedded in 3 key domain change namely building power of people living in poverty and execution creating the enabling environment and enabling greater and sustainable access to rights resources and services
OBJECTIVE OF THE MID TERM REVIEW
The objective of this assignments’ is to assess progress made towards achieving mission and strategic objective set out I the CSP IV and to capture leanings on how to the best organization could re-position itself in the remaining period of the strategy. Since the initial baseline was not conducted review will also be used to establish the baseline information for SCP IV in terms of the key program priorities areas as defined outcomes and indicators to facilitate the assessment of the AATZ intervention for the period of implementing the CSP IV (208 -2020)
