CONSTRUCTION WORKS FOR OFFICE BLOCK OF ZECO TO BE BUILT AT CHAKECHAKE PEMBA

1. The Revolution of Zanzibar has a set aside fund for the operations of the ZECO during the financial year 2020-2021, its intended that part of the proceeds will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the constructions works for office block of ZECO to be built at Chake Chake Pemba
2. ZEVO now invites sealed tenders from eligible Building contractors registered capable of being registered in class 3 and above for carrying out constructions works for the office block of ZECO to be built chake chake pemba
3. Tendering will be conducted through International Competitive Tendering procedures specified in the procurement (goods, works, and disposal of public assets by tender 2016 and is open to all tenders as defined in the regulations
4. Interested eligible tenders may obtain further information’s from and inspect the tendering document from 9:00 – 5:00 PM on Monday – Friday except on public holidays at the office of the Secretary of tender board

5. A complete set of tendering document in English language and additional sets may be purchased by interested tenders on submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 4 above and upon payment of non-refundable fee of TZS 700,000.00; the payment should be either by cash or by telegraphic transfer. payment must be through the bank Peoples of Zanzibar Ltd, Branch Forodhan Zanzibar, Swift code PBZATZTZ, A/C 022103000051 For USD and AC 021103000560 for TZS
6. All tenders must be accompanied by tender security in an acceptable form in the amount of 2% of contract amount, tender security shall be a bank guarantee in the format provider under section X of the tendering from a reputable bank
7. All tenders in one original and 3 copies properly filled in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address given under paragraph 4 above at or before 2;00 PM 4th November 2020 tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of tenders representatives who choose to attend at ZECO HQ Located at Gulion street 1st floor
8. Late tenders, portion of tenders, electronic tenders and tender not received, tenders not opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances
