SISI LIMITED is a logistics startup based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania but with a presence across more than 5 African markets. Our unique service provides enterprises the ability to concentrate on their core business activities while we handle their customs clearance matters and logistics with delivery to doorstep. Our company is a serious entrant onto the industry with strict procedures and code of conduct. We are performing our duties on international standards that every employee has to follow in order to deliver what our customers expects. As a Digital Marketing Intern, you will be working on projects that help acquire new customers, brand visibility, uptake, engagement and usage of our social platforms by enterprises across East Africa and other neighboring countries we serve. The work is challenging, fast-paced and always changing. You are creative, communicate well, are committed to quality and have a collaborative work ethic. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Digital Marketing and will work with other team members to develop content, creative designs and craft campaigns to support inbound lead generation, customer awareness and customer retention. S/he will be assigned a mini-project to complete pertaining to product marketing and growth. ABOUT THE POSITION: 1. This is a full time  2. Location – Dar es Salaam, Tanzania / City Centre 3.   •  Have an eye for creating engaging content for a particular target audience. 
  •  Are able to creatively and simply communicate and present technical aspects to an audience.
  •   Are able to work independently and proactively communicate internally and externally with respective stakeholders. 
  •   Ability to create and edit short/long form written content quickly in English and/or French and/or Swahili. 
  •  Competent with Graphics designing by using Adobe Photoshop cc, Adobe Illustrator cc, Adobe InDesign cc, Adobe Premier Pro cc 
  •  Competent with Web design and development, experienced in word press (CMS), Html, CSS, Php, MySQL database 
  •  Good understanding in computer networking 
  •  Computer software and hardware maintenance 
  •  Excellent proactive communication skills and time management 
  •  Multitasking with personal qualities of integrity, credibility and dedicated with minimum supervision 
  •  Have experience in creating, editing, running, managing and evaluating content marketing sponsored digital campaigns 
  •  Goal driven 
  •  A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree in the marketing field would be preferred, but not required. Your portfolio/projects/experience is as important, if not more, as academic qualifications. 


  •  Have experience running automated digital and content marketing campaigns  Have prior experience marketing technology services 
  •  Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress) 
  •  Have experience creating and running lead generation and content marketing campaigns. 
  •  Have experience creating web landing pages. 
  •  Have experience with advertising via paid SEM and Social Channels. 
  • Have experience creating a following on WhatsApp/LinkedIn/Facebook/Instagram. 



  •  Work closely with team members to develop and deliver online and offline content such as emails, social media messages, videos, WhatsApp and user guides with the marketing goal in mind (awareness, engagement, conversion, and action driven). 
  • Incorporate Google Business, Search Engine and Social Media posts in both websites and social media platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn Twitter, Instagram, Advertising in Dar and Zoom 
  • Update website content 
  • Identify customers’ needs and recommend new topics 
  •  Promote content on email (Mail chimp and Mad Mimi), messages (mobile networks) and social networks and monitoring engagement (e.g. clicks, comments and shares) 
  • Create and distribute email and messages (mobile networks) newsletters
  • Conduct keyword research and use SEO guidelines to optimize content 
  • Create, edit and proofread written pieces before publication 
  • Prepare well-structured content drafts using digital publishing platforms  Research industry-related topics and target content to specific audiences focusing on latest trends 
  • Participate in planning and strategizing for inbound marketing campaign execution including content, content schedule, platforms and measurements 
  • Obtain customer testimonials and feedback Ensure that benchmarks and goals for each campaign are reached 
  • Create and manage the content calendar 
  • Managing sponsored ads and reporting 
  • Work with other consultants, designers and third parties to deliver digital campaigns and achieve goals
