Driver (3 Position) (NACP) at Ministry of Health (MOHCDGEC)


Ministry of Health, Community Development, Gender, Elderly and Children (MOHCDGEC) with financial support from CDC/PEPFAR is looking for enthusiastic, creative and energetic individuals whom will work under contractual agreement to fill the following vacant positions:



Job TitleDriver (3 Position)

Location: Dodoma

Reporting to: Head Administration Unit – NACP.


Duties and Responsibilities:


1.   Perform driving duties for Cooperative Agreement (CoAg) staff attending activities, which do not require air travel; these include supportive supervision and mentorship, accreditation processes, assessment and laboratory audits, Post Market Surveillance (PMS), audit non-laboratory testers and attend

2.   Support collection of External Quality Assurance/ Dry Tube Specimen (EQA/DTS) either from Head Quarter or Zonal Blood

·      Involve with transportation of wastes produced when preparing EQA, HVL and other laboratory


Experience and Qualifications:


1.   Certificate of Ordinary Level Secondary Education

2.   Drivers Certificate courses from NIT or VETA

·      Certificate of driver training from recognized training

1.   Good interpersonal skills

2.   Three to five years’ experience in driving motor Experience driving in the public sector will be an added advantage

3.   Age limit: 50

Terms of Employment: 7 months Contract (Renewable based on Performance and availability of funds).
