Vacancy – Marketing POC – Tanzania
Our client Uber Tanzania is a reliable online taxi service provider who believes in powering movement. They offer both transport and delivery services especially for their new uber eats whereby a client orders for their meal via uber Application and have delivery done at the incredible speed of now.
The client is seeking to fill the position of a Marketing POC to be based in Tanzania. We are looking for an individual who is suitably qualified and competent with experience as a Marketer..
THE JOB.
Our marketing teams work where client’s technology meets the real world. We own cityspecific business outcomes and bridge our overall business strategy with local needs. Marketing teams run the rider and driver lifecycle, work on continuously improving the rider and driver experience. They also harmonizing the needs of the customers and work towards meeting and exceeding them.
Our team fuels the growth of the business by ensuring new and existing rider segments increasingly engage with our wider portfolio of products.
Duties and Responsibilities.
- Conduct market research and implement market strategies to boost business growth.
- Oversee all the marketing campaigns from planning to reporting.
- Working with brand ambassadors to ensure that sales targets are met.
- Direct supervision of feedback collection, escalation and response.
- Reviewing current marketing campaigns for weaknesses and developing solutions within budget constraints.
- Identifying potential new markets and creating plans to enter the market.
- Brainstorming fresh advertising ideas with senior management
- Conducting corporate sales.
Minimum Qualifications.
- 2 years of sales & marketing experience, preferably corporate sales
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent
- Proficiency in Excel, Google sheets & presentations
- Fluency in both English and Swahili
- They should be initiators and work well in a team
