Roles and Responsibilities
• Develop bothonline and offline marketing strategies in line with organization Tanzania Limited’s objectives
• Designmarketing plans and manage delivery of 360 marketing campaigns (ATL, BTL, website, social media), and PR activities.
• Particularly create digital media strategy and drive digital marketing campaigns (primarily for Facebook)
• Plan and create all marketing collateral for campaigns (brochures, posters, roll-up banners, etc) with the support of BIMA global marketing team (including in-house graphic designer) and in line with BIMA brand guidelines
• Develop and manage local website and/or Social Media accounts –Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn. Local website content & basic SEO. Managing delivery of build, maintenance and support through appropriate IT / web designer resources. Align local website with the global website to ensure layout and content consistency.
• Shape content and write scripts for local videos.
• Manage stakeholders and 3rd party delivery partners
• Collaborate with sales teams to create marketing initiatives to maximize conversions
• Continuously monitor and create reports on efficiency of ongoing efforts
• Feed the Global BIMA Communications and Marketing team with content on products, announcements etc.
• Help create relevant content for PowerPoint presentations and local conferences or events. Track and keep a record of all relevant conferences and events in Tanzania to promote our products to targeted audiences
• Support with internal communications (e.g.: writing internal quarterly newsletters) providing ideas and insights and helping to implement internal comms projects, feed into global communications.

Educational Qualifications
• Bachelor of Management, Business Administration and equivalent.

Experience Requirements
• Proven experience of BTL marketing, digital marketing, Facebook (ads manager) and proven track record of implementing complexsocial media campaigns are a must have
• Experience with consumer-facing industries, specifically with bottom of the pyramid consumers and mass market.No experience in the insurance sector is required, however experience in telecoms or financial services communications is a plus.
• Relevant Marketing degreeor equivalent qualification.
• Proven ability to create concise messages in Swahili that explain complicated issues in a short and easy to understand way. Ability to tell a story simply, creatively and engagingly.
• A strong ‘solutions focus’ and be comfortable working in an environment where there is a high personal accountability for deliverables.
• Demonstrated ability to motivate and efficiently manage different stakeholders
• High energy and flexibility, great personal communication skills (both written and verbal) and huge amounts of drive.
• A creative and out-of-the-box thinker, capable of creating new ideas from scratch and refining existing ones
