Comprehensive Community Based Rehabilitation in Tanzania (CCBRT) is a locally registered organisation first established
in 1994. It is the largest indigenous provider of Ophthalmic, Orthopaedic, Prosthetic and Orthotic rehabilitation services in
the country. CCBRT aims to be the leading provider of accessible specialized health services in Africa and serves as healthcare
social enterprise and through development programmes the community and the most vulnerable. Committed to preventing
lifelong disabilities wherever possible, CCBRT is also engaged in extensive maternal and newborn healthcare (MNHC)
activities including obstetric fistula repairs and is currently constructing a Maternity and Newborn wing.

In line with our organizational developments,
CCBRT is looking for a dynamic and energetic Clinical Administrator

The role
As part of the CCBRT Clinical Division, you support the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and all Heads of Departments in
the administrative/ programmatic management of the respective business units. In this role you assist the CMO in
following up on plan development and implementation while assisting the HODs in ensuring that developed plans are
up to date. You assist in maintaining an overview of all clinical activities in the clinical meeting room and provide
administrative follow up on matters (including correspondence).

You assist in programmatic data management, which includes the development of a library for all indicators relevant to
the clinical division, establishing the SOPs to collect the respective data and assist the HODs in the analysis and
monitoring of the relevant clinical progress indicator at departmental level and translate the information into actions to
optimize services. You assist the HODs in the timely compiling of departmental reports that can be used by the Hospital
Executive committee but also for external use as per given requirements and timelines.

Assist the clinical division in setting up a research agenda and programme that contributes to the personal as well as
institutional profiling of CCBRT; You liaise with authorities on the process for ethical approvals and explore international
opportunities for the research agenda and assist in the processing of initial screening of research requests; You act as
secretary to the Medical Ethical Committee.

The candidate
 Has a Master’s degree in development studies, Health Management, M&E or related field with a
minimum of four years’ work experience in a health related project and a minimum of two years’
experience in clinical research
 Has experience in working in a developing country and experience in collaboration with clinical
personnel of different disciplines
 Has solid experience in project management (budgets, grants, logical frameworks)
 Shows excellent verbal and written communication skills
 Has strong analytical skills and is able to deliver quality on time
 Has excellent interpersonal skills and talent to work with multiple stakeholders (internal/external)
