Capacity Building & Training Centre Coordinator

Roles and Responsibilities
• Development and implementation of Capacity Building and Training Centre Strategy
• Promotion of the Training Centre to be a recognised Training Institution in the field of sanitation in Tanzania
• Stakeholder management and establishing/ fostering of partnerships with suitable stakeholders in the sanitation and Capacity Building sector
• Identification of funding sources for Capacity Building measures and acquiring of funds through suitable channels (e.g. donor organisations)
• Identification and mapping of knowledge gaps/ training needs in the sanitation sector
• Development of training curricular and materials to meet knowledge gaps in the sector
• Promotion of offered Capacity Building Packages to the sanitation sector
• Lead team in managing, designing, developing, coordinating training programs
• Coordination and leading of all Capacity Building related activities
• Reporting for all Capacity Building activities in accordance with internal and donor requirements
• Coordination of all internal staff training measures incl. training of in-house trainers
• Supports the community and technical training activities of the team actively and professionally

Educational Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years professional experience in the Capacity Building sector (experience in the private sector of advantage)
• Proven training and Capacity Building experiences
o Experience in design of professional training curricular/ materials
o Experience in delivery of professional training programs
o Strong knowledge of Learning Management Systems and Behavior change communication
• Knowledge of the sanitation sector of advantage

• Good command of spoken and written English mandatory
