AYEGRO Group Limited is corporate Agro-Business company registered in Tanzania. The company stands out firm as a pillar in bringing sustainable farming solutions to rural agriculture communities mainly youths and women through Good Agronomic Practice (GAP) trainings, soil health management (sampling, testing, results interpretation, mapping/layouts), contract farming, value chain Development and Management, selling of quality agro-inputs, consultancy services and market linkages. The company has two operating offices in Dodoma (HQ) and Mbeya (sub-office). TITLE: Senior Field Expert (1 Post)-Agronomy Department

Reporting to Managing Director

Station: Dodoma

Key Internal Role:

  • Lead the team of 15 Junior Field Expects (JFE’s) to accomplish their day to day responsibilities through providing technical support for them to better understand key components of soil health management and principles of soil sampling hence proper handling prior to lab analysis.

  • Prepare training manuals to cover Good Agronomic Practices for various value chains mainly Sunflower, maize and beans.

  • To organize and train farmers about GAP

  • Identify and recommend suitable sites for demo plot establishment

  • Coordinates the whole process, sites identification, soil sampling, coding, transportation of samples from field to lab, follow up result, interpretation and recommendation and finally presentation of results to farmers in the simple and understandable way.

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • SFE is expected to have at least four years working experience in Agriculture sectors in technical positions.

  • Skills in leading a team of 20 people in a participatory approach.

  • Holder of either BSc. Agronomy, Horticulture or Agriculture General from any accredited University in Tanzania.

  • Having a valid driving license and able to drive a manual car.

  • Willing to travel and work in challenging environment.

  • Expert in Microsoft Office (mainly Excel, Word, Power point) and statistical programs preferably GenStat.

  • Strong communication skills both spoken and written English and Swahili languages.

TITLE: Junior Field Expert (15 Posts)-Agronomy Department

Reporting to Senior Field Expert

Station: Either Dodoma, Manyara and Singida.

Key Internal Role:

  • Soil sampling, coding and labelling.

  • Organize farmers and training them

  • Advise farmers on GAP

  • Register more farmers to test their soil

  • Manage demo plots

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • One year working experience in the Agriculture sector preferably in field activities.

  • Better understanding on soil sampling and handling.

  • Holder of Diploma and Certificates Agriculture general and any other related.

  • Willing to travel and work in remote areas

  • Able/willing to learn on how to ride motorbikes.

  • Able/ willing to learn on how to use GPS.

TITLE: Human Resource and Admin Officer-(1 Post) -Department of Human Resource

Reporting to Managing Director

Station: Dodoma

Key Internal Role:

  • Working closely with other departments within a company to develop “Company Operational Procedures (OP’s) Manuals” which fits and abide to Tanzanian Labour Laws and Policies.

  • Staff Recruitment: Developing job descriptions and person specifications, preparing job adverts, checking application forms, shortlisting, interviewing and selecting candidates.

  • Preparing staff handbooks and keep records

  • Negotiating with staff and their representatives on issues relating to pay and conditions

  • Dealing with grievances and implementing disciplinary procedures.

  • Developing HR planning strategies, which consider immediate and long-term staff requirements.

  • Plan, coordinates and lead on employee’s trainings.

  • Maintain office supplies inventory, order and purchase items after prospecting market prices.

  • Ensure maintenance of company vehicles and control vehicle documentation

Qualification and Competencies:

  • Proficient in MSOffice

  • Bachelor degree specialized in Human Resources Management or any other related.

  • Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong Ethics and liability

  • At leats two years proven experience as HR officer or administrator.

TITLE: Finance Manager (1 Post)-Finance Department

Reporting to Managing Director

Station:  Dodoma

Key Internal Role:

  • Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to management while recommending further courses of action.

  • Advise on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take

  • Maintain the financial health of the organization.

  • Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.

  • Develop trends and projections for the firm’s finances.

  • Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.

  • Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.

  • Manage the preparation of the company’s budget.

  • Liase with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.

  • Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.

Qualification and Competencies:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or other relevant field is required.

  • Excellent understanding of financial systems and procedures.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to lead and work effectively in team situations.

  • Ability to manage a complex and diverse workload and to work to tight deadlines.
