Nafasi ya Kazi Head of Sales and Distribution Operations and Terminals - Vodacom, Tuma Maombi Yako Mapema


Role purpose:

Responsible on the Sales & Distribution operations End to End, that includes;
• S&D machinery in airtime and starter packs.
• Registration.
• Freelancer and Agent Management.
• SIM swap operations.
• Electronic airtime.
• Retail management.
• Terminals Sales.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership
• Developing and delivering strategic pillars for Sales & Distribution
• Managing SIM swap operations end 2 end to ensure we have SIM available across Tanzania in more than 15000 touch points.
• Increase S &D M-pesa operation efficiency
• Deliver commission efficiencies across all our starter packs, SIM registrations, Airtime, terminals and SIM Swap.
• Managing S&D footprint across the country including acquisition, on boarding and deployment of all agents
• Channel education, training & engagement
• Managing Territory distributers, free lancers and super dealers operations
• Core competencies, knowledge and experience.
• Commission structure and efficiencies management.
• Driver Terminals as one of the Key Strategic pillars of Vodacom Tanzania.
• Build Terminals Strategy based on market and consumer insight.
• Contribute to meet usage, Data user’s acquisition, penetration and consumer satisfaction.
• Quality management of devices sold.
• Thorough research and action on recommendations.

Qualifications & experience:
• Excellent leadership and influential skills
• Excellent analytics skills
• Strong commercial sense
• Highly competitive
• Bachelor’s degree in a business related course.
• Master’s in Business Administration would be preferred additional qualification
• Minimum of 5-7 Years’ experience in Sales & Distribution
• Delivered success stories in some of the key accountabilities listed
• Proven record of competitive performance.
• Proven excellent leadership skills.
• Budget owned: Inflow revenue targets
